Symblast offers a full gel-peeling service, whereby osmosis affected hulls are stripped of their gel-coats using a high degree of skill and experienced expertise. This ensures the correct amount of gel-coat is removed prior to processing the surface with a fine abrasive to remove damaged and loose laminate. This aids the drying process.

Steam Cleaning is then used on the exposed laminate to flush out any undesired osmotic fluid whilst carefully monitoring the moisture content of the hull. The surface is now fully prepared for the re-application of coatings such as epoxy, gel-coat etc.
